Dear All:
As I have read if the visa is rejected the last page of applicant passport will be stamped “Application Received” with the date and location of rejecting consulate.
My parent’s visa rejected in December 2010 at Mumbai consulate but instead on passport VO stamped “Application Received” on the back side of visa rejection letter 214(b).
I request your advice to know if “Application Received” stamp on visa rejection letter 214(b) and NOT on applicant passport would not cause any issues for re-applying.
Your advice on this would be appreciated.
Regards
Amit Mayekar
